A Week of Wildflower Fields - Day 5, Tab Top Gift Box

Welcome to Day 5 of my Week of Wildflower Fields!  Today I have created a lovely little gift box using the Wildflower Fields DSP and the Envelope Punch Board.

You need to start with a piece of DSP measuring 6" x 6".  Then, using the Envelope Punch Board, punch and score at 2" and 4", on all 4 sides.  Fold and burnish these score lines, then punch a 1/4" hole for the ribbon in two of the "tags" (on opposite sides of the box).  Assemble as above, using Snail Adhesive, then punch out an Old Olive scalloped circle, followed by a Whisper White circle, then stamp the greeting into the centre of the white circle.  Assemble and stick to the box using Stampin' Dimensionals.  Cut a length of Whisper White ribbon, thread through the holes made in the tabs, and tie.  Voila, a small gift box!

Wildflower Fields

I take part in a couple of card swaps each month, exchanging cards with other crafter's all over the world.  With this in mind, I've been having a play with some of our Sale-a-Bration products, the Wildflower Fields DSP in particular.

I absolutely love just how different these cards look, even though I'm using the same sheets of DSP, just the opposite side (got to love double sided papers).  Which do you prefer?

As usual, I've included a slideshow of the products used in creating these cards, in addition to the Sale-a-Bration DSPs.

I hope you have enjoyed this project.

Yellow Roses, Just For You

I'm normally like to work with pinks and purples, but in a leap back to my childhood favourite colour, I decided to give yellow a go.

Todays card is another made using the Floral Wings stamp set, but this time incorporating some of the English Garden Designer Series Paper, Bakers Twine, and a Blossom Accent in the 2015-17 In Colour colouring

I quite like how Hello Honey and Soft Suede work together on this card, and how the rounded corner draws your eye to the sentiment and the blossom accent.

As usual, here is a full list of the products used...
