Pootler's Design Team - Week 2
I was so excited to discover I'd been accepted onto the Pootler's Design Team for January, and even more so when I discovered which of the fab Stampin' Up! stamp sets I'd be playing with! So for each Thursday in January, I'll be posting a project created using this little cutie...
Bella and Friends has been on my wish list since the launch of the current Stampin' Up! Annual catalogue (along with pretty much every other stamp set that hadn't yet made it into my ever growing collection - I'm such a stamp addict), and I'm delighted to share with you the second of my Bella and Friends creations.
I couldn't resist creating a card with an added bit of sparkle for this weeks project. With the weather being cold and grey, I'm sure there is at least one person I can think of that would appreciate this Bella and Friends creation.
I made this card by cutting a sheet of Whisper White Thick Cardstock in half, then folded in half using the Stampin' Trimmer. I then cut a piece of Wisteria Wonder Cardstock to , before mounting it to the front of the card using Snail Adhesive.
Taking a piece of Whisper White Cardstock, I then trimmed this to 3 5/8" x5 3/8", before stamping the dog and bird image in Basic Grey ArchivalStampin' Pad. A second image (this time, just using the balloon) was then stamped onto a Wisteria Wonder sheet from the Subtles Designer Series Paper Stack, then cut out and stuck over the stamped balloon, using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I also stamped the sentiment onto another piece of Whisper White Cardstock, before running it through my Big Shot with a Stitched Shape Framelits Die. The image was then coloured in using an Aqua Painter and my Wisteria Wonder, Smoky Slate, Chocolate Chip, and Crushed Curry Classic Stampin' Pads.
Once dry, I created the glittery background by using a Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush, and once dry, attached this panel to the Wisteria Wonder panel on the card. The sentiment was then attached to the card front using a couple of Stampin' Dimensionals.

Sketch Challenge Mojo438 - A Steaming Cuppa
What a foggy morning! There is nothing I like more on a morning like today than a lovely warming cup of tea, my inspiration for todays card, and my entry into the Mojo Sketch Challenge 438.
Taking dies from the Cups & Kettle Framelits Dies set, the topper was created by die cutting a cup from Wisteria Wonder card, and the decoration to the cup and steam were die cut from a scrap of Whisper White card. Once the decoration had been stuck to the cup (using Multi Purpose Liquid Glue), a sparkle was added using a Clear Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush pen, and again to the steam. The cup was then finished with a layer of Crystal Effect. This was then left overnight for the Crystal Effect to set/dry, then both were attached to the card using Multi Purpose Liquid Glue.

I do hope you like my card and have enjoyed this project.
To make this card, I cut an A4 sheet of Wisteria Wonder card in half, then scored to create my card blank. Then I selected a sheet of DSP from the Have A Cuppa Designer Series Paper Stack, trimmed it down to 5-3/8" x 3-5/8", then stuck it to a panel of Whisper White card measuring 5-5/8" x 3-7/8". A Tea Lace Paper Doilie was then stuck onto the panel, and a length of Whisper White Satin Ribbon was wrapped around the card (this was stuck in place with a small piece of Tear & Tape Adhesive, leaving the backing in place). This panel was then stuck to the card blank using Tear & Tape Adhesive.
